We are happy to share our experience of working with Greg Wall and his crew at Wall-to-Wall Construction of Catonsville, Maryland. They recently built an addition to re-configure our kitchen, added a shower to an existing powder room and re-constructed our deck. The guys at Wall-to-Wall and their sub-contractors were involved with every phase of our project from design and permitting to final inspection.
During our initial meeting with Greg and his in-house designer Rich English, they inspected our house and discussed our options. They provided a workable design that answered our needs and blended well with our existing home. When their bid was presented, it was detailed and held true to the final project cost. Greg took the time to make sure that we understood the project budget and timeline.
From the start of foundation work for our kitchen addition, Greg or his framing carpenter Dave were on the job daily. Dave was responsive and just as attentive to details as Greg. Both were readily available by phone and email.
Opening a house to the elements is an exercise in trust and any construction project brings a few challenges. The Wall-to-Wall crew earned our trust at every step along the way. It was reassuring to know that not only did the work need to meet our satisfaction, but it also needed to meet Greg’s. We also worked with Teresa at Cabinet Discounters, and benefited from her suggestions and expertise.
Greg introduced us to the project manager, Jeff Johnston, and Jeff took us through the remaining aspects of the construction. Jeff is an excellent manager, a very detailed carpenter, and kept us informed us of all activities along the way. Among many other tasks, Jeff cut and placed the tile in our bathroom, and he is truly a master at his craft.
Greg, Dave and Jeff worked with us so that we did some of the work ourselves, namely existing deck removal and painting. They informed us of the schedule for the work we were to do, but were never forceful and were always considerate of our personal schedules.
Every employee of Wall-to-Wall and their sub-contractors showed us and our home the highest level of care and respect. Their work and craftsmanship was very high in quality, and I would not hesitate to welcome them into our home again.
We suspect that you too may benefit from the high level of knowledge, care and craftsmanship that Wall-to-Wall brought to our project. We have received numerous compliments from family and guests. If and when we have another improvement for our home, we will enthusiastically seek out Wall-to-Wall to help us accomplish that endeavor.
